DOG'S BREAKFASTS

This year we won`t be racing the light.

Morning with the goats and pig are much more fun...

For all those who remember the wee hog - be prepared for a HUGE surprise!

The changes this summer include "by reservation only" seatings for

"SATURDAY MORNING DOG'S BREAKFASTS"... on select weekends throughout the summer.on

May 30th: Socializing on the fly:
Many dogs function in a social setting but aren’t fluent in their own language. Behaving in a group like an over rambunctious punk or anxiously biding its time until it can go home again...This Breakfast will introduce you to assessing your own dog’s comfort levels in a crowd, as well as tips and hints on reading stressors, predicting pack behaviour and helping improve your dogs reactions to new situations. A touch of Dog/Owner etiquette will garnish the menu as well.

June 13th The Leash:

For many pet owners the decision of when, where and why to physically control their pet with a leash can be the catalyst to a vast array of behavioural issues. A little piece of rope and the seemingly unrelated issues surrounding it will fill this Breakfast plate beyond satisfaction. The “party favour” leaving with guests this morning will be: a walking dog on a slack leash.

June 27th Loving them to Stress:
In our quest to provide the very best of care for our animals, many people overlook the simplest and most essential needs our canine friends have. If your dog demonstrates behaviours that are hard to control; barking, chewing, digging, hyperactivity, aggression, cowering or failing to perform trained behaviours - your dog may be experiencing degrees of stress. Often this “Stress” can be reduced or eradicated with your help by a simple shift of perspective. If your dog exhibits signs of “Dis-ease” please don’t miss this Breakfast.

July 18th Communication Skills:
In most circles we see the smart species trying to teach the not so smart species a new language...see the problem? There is really no need for all this Walk-ies!! drama. Before, during or after raising your dog we can always improve our rapport. This Breakfast should be the most amusing of all – we’ll be giving the “Smart” critters a taste of their own medicine!
